My grandma has been one of the strongest women I have ever encountered in my life. Aside legendary women heroes that marked our history, Aung San Suu Kyi is next in my most admired women’s list because of their wisdom and strength. My grandmother lists as third. She has taken care of my grandfather throughout his life up until his recent demise, to think that they were just two years apart in age.

Our family was devastated to get a phone call from her while she was in a police station. We rushed to the police station and found out that her home was broken into and that the culprit was already in custody. How could that have happened has a comedic turn. She said that she was just shouting at the top of her voice, trying to let the burglar just get out of the house. According to her, the burglar seemed to have hesitated coming up to the room sin the second level after she screamed she had security cameras in the house which she did not have at all. The culprit seemed agitated and went out the wrong way – right where my grandma’s Great Dane was waiting for the prey.

Before any other similar incidents had to happen, we decided to put up security systems around her house, for real. She can do all the shouting and her Great Dane can always rely on his pangs. But if seasoned were armed, it could turn out differently.

Sometimes we need experts to handle our daily affairs. Security is a commodity that we should invest in. Aside from the DIY Alarms, you also need a security agency to check on your systems, make sure that your systems are working, and handle your home security arrangement while you are away or on vacation. Do-it-yourself alarms are mere objects you buy from online stores, but you need the services of experts to properly install them. Some may say that it is very easy to install them, but experts know where to install them. Their services are indispensable these days and you must choose the right one for you. Aside from that, some provide inspection and maintenance services for your alarm systems. They will also update and tell you about the latest security gadgets and how can you avail of the latest security systems in the market.

A security agency is needed especially during those times you are away on vacation. It will inspect and check your security systems before you go on vacation. It will make sure that the motion detector systems and glass break detection tools are properly placed, and the telephone lines connecting the home to the security agency are functioning properly. This steps are necessary to help the security agency respond if there is a potential break in or to assist them in informing the Police Department about a break in. Other agencies also add video surveillance systems to make sure that the valuables are still present. Thus, you need to invest in a good DIY Alarm System and a reputable security agency to make sure that your systems are functioning properly.
